Your first visit
Whether you are new to the Mat-Su Valley, looking for a church home, or simply wanting to learn more about God, there is a place for you and your family at Manna.
You’ll find a warm and down-to-earth church family made up of people from different ages and walks of life. Alaska has a culture all its own, and you’ll find that same friendly, practical spirit at Manna. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to do. Come as you are, and expect to be welcomed.
Our services are centered around Jesus Christ and the Word of God. You can expect traditional, Christ-honoring music, prayer, fellowship, and clear preaching from the King James Bible. Our goal is not simply to attend church, but to hear from God’s Word and leave encouraged and challenged to live for Christ.
Manna offers ministries for children, teenagers, adults, and senior saints, along with opportunities to serve, build friendships, and reach our community with the Gospel. A nursery is available during our services, and age-appropriate Sunday School classes help young people learn biblical truth in a safe and caring environment.
You don’t need to worry about having the “right” clothes. You’ll see people dressed in everything from traditional Sunday attire to more casual clothing. We’re much more interested in you than in what you’re wearing.
Parking & arriving
Parking is conveniently available at the church, so finding a place should be simple. We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early, especially on your first visit. This gives you plenty of time to park, get your children settled, and meet a few people before the service begins.
